Recently undergoing massive restorations, this narrow, historic pass connects Wellington to Ceres. It was built in the 1850s and retains a rugged, intimate feel, tightly hugging massive rock walls on one side with a sheer drop to the Witte River on the other. It is a slow, highly technical drive requiring immense respect and precision.
