A wide, beautifully maintained mountain pass connecting the coastal city of George to the semi-desert of Oudtshoorn. Because it is a major arterial route, the road is wide with generous overtaking lanes, allowing for very fast, sweeping corner entries. The stark change in landscape from lush green to dry desert during the drive is incredible.
