Located in Mpumalanga, this is one of the highest paved roads in South Africa, cresting at 2,150 meters. The road sweeps massively through the Drakensberg escarpment with wide, fast-paced corners and huge elevation changes. It is a spectacular, high-momentum drive often enveloped in rolling mist.
