Once the dreaded main crossing of the Pindos Mountains, this historic pass has been beautifully bypassed by a modern tunnel, leaving the old road practically empty. Winding between Metsovo and Kalabaka (near Meteora), it climbs above 1,700 meters, offering massive, sweeping alpine corners and breathtaking views. It is a wide, flowing ribbon of asphalt perfect for carrying high momentum.
