The most dramatic drive in Wales, running at the foot of Mount Snowdon. The road squeezes through a glaciated valley littered with massive boulders, flanked by the steep cliffs of the Glyderau and the Snowdon massif. It is intense, narrow in places, and visually overwhelming, often feeling more like a scene from Lord of the Rings than a public highway.
